The Wall of Temptations
We invite you to discover the sixty or so Parfums we offer. You'll smell some lovely Parfums Soliflores, but also some very beautiful Parfums Complexes. In fact, it's easy to tell the difference between a Parfum Soliflore and a Parfum Complexe.
Parfum Soliflore always bears the name of one or even two raw materials. For example, Vanilla, Patchouli or Cinnamon-Orange. A Parfum Solifore has one dominant note (or even two), and 20 to 25 other notes to embellish and personalize it. This is why your Vanilla Parfum Soliflore will not be the same as the Vanilla created by someone else, because the complementary notes will be different.
Complex Perfumes, on the other hand, have a specific name or description. For example, La Petite Robe Noire, La Vie est Belle, Chanel n°5, etc. A Parfum Complexe is made up of 200 to 250 notes, which is what makes it so subtle. These numerous notes are organized to form what is known as the Olfactory Pyramid. Each note plays a specific role at a given moment in the fragrance's life. We speak of top notes, middle notes and base notes.
Please note that a Parfum Soliflore is not better or worse than a Parfum Complexe! The aim is simply very different! With a Parfum Soliflore, you're looking for the scent of a substance you love, whereas with a Parfum Complexe, you're looking to tell a story.
Speaking of quality, we're talking here about "Eau de Parfum", which is the best on the market these days, apart from elixirs - perfume extracts which are 10 to 20 times more expensive!
